As a champion for digital transformation, Muhammad Khalil, Senior Digital Delivery Manager, has been a catalyst for change at Boustead Projects and the built environment sector.
Over the last 15 years, Khalil has witnessed significant transformation in the built environment sector. From having to manually draw designs and recreate thousands of documents in the past, he now deals with game-changing digital processes such as Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD).
Now, Khalil champions digital transformation at Boustead Projects, harnessing technology that connects design to construction, driving new efficiencies and streamlining processes.
As a Skills Manager under the SkillsFuture Queen Bee Programme, Khalil also helps SMEs identify skills gaps and partners institutes of higher learning to curate programmes and facilitates training to build up their skills capabilities.
Khalil believes in enhancing soft skills, encouraging a mindset change and hopes to foster greater collaboration within the built environment sector, instead of working in silos – with help from technology.
